About Our Church

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our final authority in matters of faith, truth, and Christian living. Scripture is without error in its original writings and reveals God's will for salvation and His purposes for His people. We believe all Scripture ultimately points us to Jesus Christ.

We believe in one God who eternally exists in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each is fully God, sharing the same divine nature, attributes, and glory.

We believe that humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin through Adam. Because of sin, every person is born spiritually dead and unable to turn to God apart from His grace. We believe that our hope is not found in our own goodness or ability, but entirely in the mercy and grace of God.

We believe salvation is the work of God's grace, accomplished through Jesus Christ. Because of our sin, we must be born again by the Holy Spirit. Salvation is received through faith in Christ alone—not through baptism, good works, morality, religious achievement, or anything we can do for ourselves. Repentance accompanies genuine faith as God gives new life to the believer.

We believe that those who have truly been saved by God's grace are kept by God forever. Our salvation rests not upon our ability to hold onto God, but upon God's purpose, grace, the finished work of Christ, His intercession for His people, and the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the center of all Scripture and salvation. Through His death and resurrection, Christ accomplished the work necessary for our redemption, and we look forward to His promised return in glory.

We believe every believer is called to walk by the Spirit, faithfully live according to God's Word, proclaim the Gospel, pray for and support the church, and use the spiritual gifts God has given for the good of Christ's body. Christian faith is not merely something we profess—it is something we are called to live.

We believe the purpose of the local church is to glorify God through worship, build believers up in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, and proclaim the Gospel both locally and throughout the world. We believe the church is called to remain faithful to biblical truth and sound doctrine while encouraging one another to grow in Christ.

We believe Jesus gave the church two ordinances: water baptism and the Lord's Supper.

We practice baptism by immersion following conversion, as a public testimony of a believer's faith in Christ and identification with His death, burial, and resurrection.

We observe the Lord's Supper as a memorial of Christ's sacrifice, directing our worship and gratitude toward Him, His finished work on the cross, and the hope of His return.

We believe Satan is a real, personal being—a fallen angel and declared enemy of God and humanity.

We believe Jesus Christ will return personally, visibly, and in power and glory following the period of great tribulation. We believe His return will usher in His millennial reign, bring judgment upon Satan, and ultimately fulfill God's purposes and promises for His creation and His people. 

At the heart of everything we believe is a simple conviction: God's Word is true, Christ is our hope, salvation is by grace, and the church belongs to Him.

We don't believe the church exists to create its own message, but to faithfully proclaim the truth God has already given us. Our desire is to worship Him in spirit and in truth, grow together in the knowledge of Christ, and make His Gospel known in our community and beyond.
